Dr. Sima Rafati, DDS, MS – Orthodontic Expertise

Dr. Sima Rafati has over 30 years of experience in orthodontics. She graduated with honors from UCSF Dental School in 1994 and completed her orthodontic training with a master’s in oral biology in 1997. Dr. Rafati has extensive experience in pediatric and adult orthodontics, specializing in non-extraction treatments for severe crowding. She has been using clear aligners since 2001 and taught orthodontic treatment planning at UCSF.

Invisalign® uses clear, removable aligners to gradually move your teeth into the desired position. The aligners are custom-made using digital scans for a precise fit.
While you may experience some discomfort or pressure after adjustments, it is temporary and usually fades within a few days.
Treatment time varies depending on your individual needs, but most patients complete their treatment in 12–24 months.
Invisalign® is suitable for most patients, including adults and teens, but it’s best to schedule a consultation to determine if it’s the right choice for you.
